Back in 1675 Samuel A. Kohlberg and the mining bailiff Elias Hult, were granted a Royal Charter for the establishment of a hammer-works by the Lesjö streams, Sweden. It wasn't until 1852, over 150 years later that they would start spring manufacture. One hundred and twenty five years later and the company celebrated it's 300th birthday in style by inviting its 1100 employees as guests to the huge event.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTS:
All manufacture of coil springs takes place in Sweden at Lesjöfors Fjädrar AB where springs have been made since 1852. Lesjöfors springs are produced from high quality spring steel and all springs are cold wound by computer controlled automated machinery. To ensure the maximum length of life and quality each spring is shot peened and tested. Thereafter the springs are powder coated to counteract the onset of corrosion.

Lesjöfors’ Coil Springs Catalogue offers the world’s largest home produced selection of standard and H/D springs. Production takes place in their factory, Lesjöfors Fjädrar AB, which is especially adapted to the manufacture of chassis springs. Quality control of every spring takes place automatically during the production process.
  
The range of gas springs intended for most car bonnets, hoods, boots and trunks is comprised of items for about 400 different applications. All gas springs are custom-made for the relevant model of car and delivered complete with the appropriate fastenings for the ends.
  
In its latest catalogue Lesjöfors Automotive offers a range of leaf springs for, amongst other things, light lorries/trucks, jeeps and mini-buses. Leaf springs are always supplied complete with bushings.
LOWERING KITS        

 

 
Lesjöfors Lowering Springs are TÜV-approved sport spring kits which are designed and tested under Nordic motoring conditions. Ongoing product development ensures that the range is always up to date. All kits can be mounted with the original shock absorbers and we recommend that genuine approved sport shock absorbers are used.
